REGRET 2019

Individual Tile Pictures - inspired by Candy Chang's "Before I Die..." - a piece of regret. I had 40 strangers write down a regret they had on a cloth square, then sew them all together into a large quiltlike piece. while they ranged from something very personal, "I regret not spending more time with my grandfather before he died" to a simple regret, "I regret not living my best life", this piece explores and dives deep into thought. fix that regret before it's too late. what do you regret? 3.3 x 5 ft. 2019
